Second Chance Rescue Inc., is a non-profit 501(c) pet rescue organization founded by Bernadette in 2005, many years after she first began rescuing lost, neglected or abused animals in Miami, Florida.

With the unique combination of a warm heart and practical outlook, Bernadette has succeeded in creating an organization that considers not only the unique characteristics of each pet fostered, but also the individual situation of every adoption applicant.

Second Chance is all about helping pets get the most out of life, and giving their human companions the opportunity to share in this experience.
